Many clients being discharged from treatment facilities need more structure in an aftercare program than they receive. They attend a support group, such as AA or NA, as suggested by their treatment provider. Unfortunately many will fall back into their old patterns of behaviors, and start using drugs or drinking again. Relapse is all too common following treatment, whether it is inpatient or outpatient. Recovery, while resuming daily responsibilities, is a challenge.
Coaching provides a balance of structure, guidance, and motivation that will fuel long term success.
